Zachary (Zak) Smith is a play-by-play broadcaster/on-air talent and a graduate of Bowling Green State University. He currently is a sports analyst for WMFD Sports as well as a Co-Host of the Smith and Sidle Show.

Zak began his broadcasting career with the Bowling Green Radio Sports Organization in 2018, where he worked two full seasons as the voice of Bowling Green Volleyball as well as a play-by-play voice for other Bowling Green Athletics including Football, Baseball, Soccer, and Basketball. 

In the Summer of 2021, Zak was the voice of Galion Graders Baseball, a member of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate Baseball League which led to getting the opportunity to join the WMFD Sports Team in the fall covering Mid-Central Ohio Football and Co-Hosting Scores and More, the area's High School Sports Show.

After graduating from BGSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism in May 2022, Zak joined the WMFD Team Full-Time where he currently works.
